Honeycomb Shades
Honeycomb shades from Fenstermann are only 1 inch in overall depth and operate bottom-up and top-down. These tension corded shades have no header and have no strings across the glass. 170 fabrics in transparent, translucent and black out allow for the perfect match for light and privacy management.
They are the perfect solution for an inside mount installation to preserve your window design or your beautiful wood trim. With available side rails they can be upgraded to child safe / pet safe shades to adhere to the newest child protecting laws of the US and Canada. A total blackout theater setting” is also available.
Pleated Blinds
Pleated blinds from Fenstermann are single layer fabric blinds that are only 7/8 inches in overall depth and install to a shallow surface of only ½ inch. The minimal and modern design allows for maximal function and over 500 fabrics choices let you create the perfect scenery in your home.
Bottom-up top-down function means that you can move the blind to any position of your window or door – stack them on the bottom or top and anywhere between or block light and nosey neighbors at any time of the day or night. Installation is a breeze with 12 installation options such as adhesive glue strips, glue plates, drill free clips or permanent inside mount that suit any requirement.
Blinds for Tilt and Turn Windows
Fenstermann blinds and shades are made for European style tilt and turn windows, doors, folding doors and lift and slide doors. They do install directly in front of the glass and travel with the windows and doors. They are narrow enough to pass behind the window handle and because they install to all 4 corners of your window sash, they do stay flat to the sash even when in tilt function.
Narrow Depth Blinds
For windows with limited mounting depth, Fenstermann LLC offers an innovative selection of narrow depth blinds that fit seamlessly within slim frames. Traditional blinds often require more space, making it challenging to install them on certain types of windows, especially in modern builds where narrow profiles are common. Child Safe Bottom up Top down Shades
In May 2022 the Canadian Government implemented a child protection law to prevent child strangulation and death through strings and cords of blinds. About a year later, the USA recognized the importance of this law and implemented its own child protection.
Fenstermann Child Safe Blinds and Shades are invented in the USA and made in Germany. The invention passed the regulations in October 2022 and is approved as Child Safe Blind and Shade.
It is the only bottom-up top-down window covering that opens bottom-up top-down and is safe.
Roller Shades
Roller Shades are the classic of window treatment and know for decades. It is very easy to install as inside mount or surface mount, available in hundreds of fabrics in light filtering and black out and it can span a width up to 120 inches.
Roller Shades are perfect for large opening such as panoramic windows or sliding doors where you do not have enough depth for our bottom-up top-down shades, or you just cannot reach the top of the shade. Since the US adopted parts of the Canadian Child Safe law, our roller shades are only available as motorized version with lithium-ion battery or hard wired.
